Welcome Stone Town Tours and Safaris
A Word from the Founder
Tanzania is, by any measure, one of the most extraordinary places on earth. It holds the greatest wildlife spectacle in the natural world the Great Migration of 1.5 million wildebeest across the Serengeti plains. It holds Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain on the African continent. It holds Zanzibar, whose Stone Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site a living city built over seven centuries of Omani, Persian, Indian, and Swahili culture, perched at the edge of the Indian Ocean. Our founder grew up inside all of this not as a tourist, but as a child of it. Raised in Zanzibar, he came of age in his family's tourism business: handling bookings, meeting guests at the harbour, learning the lanes of Stone Town before he learned anything else. It was pocket money at first. Then a livelihood. Then an education in what it means to welcome people into a place you love and to do it with care. The return to tourism with Stonetown Tours and Safaris was not nostalgia. It was strategic clarity. Despite Tanzania's extraordinary raw material, the country's tourism industry is structurally fragmented, over 200 safari operators in Arusha and dozens of Zanzibar beach operators, all operating in silos. A visitor wanting both the Serengeti and Zanzibar experience must coordinate multiple companies, multiple payment channels, and disjointed logistics across a journey that should be seamless.
"Stone Town Tours & Safaris was founded to solve that problem. Permanently. Definitively. With excellence."From the coral-stone alleys of the UNESCO city to the golden plains of the Serengeti every detail managed by one team, under one roof, with one standard of care. From the moment a guest lands at Kilimanjaro International Airport to the moment they board their departure flight from Zanzibar: one operator. Zero coordination stress.
One operator. Zero coordination stress.
